Fish What You Wish Rules


It is the responsibility of each Angler Armory member to understand and abide by the rules listed below:

1.This is a free contest limited to Angler Armory members
2.Register here to become an Angler Armory member

1. Team Registration form must be filled out by an Angler Armory Member to enter into FISH WHAT YOU WISH contest.
2. Team Registration Form must be completed prior to start (lines in the water) of qualifying FISH WHAT YOU WISH tournament. Memberships are time stamped to show exact time of registration.
3. Team Registration Form only needs to be filled out once and does not have to be filled out for each FISH AS YOU WISH event you chose to fish
4. Captain & Team Name are used exclusively to track aggregate weights in FISH WHAT YOU WISH contests
5. A weigh slip from each tournament fished, with Angler Armory Member listed as registered Captain, must be turned into Angler Armory via email no later than 5 days after that tournament ends. Email to send in weigh slips is
6. Any participant that hooks, angles, gaffs and/or touches the fish during each tournament must be either an Angler Armory Member in order for that fish to qualify.
7. Teams must obey each individual tournament’s rules and adhere to their boundaries.


Team USA – consists of Captain and 3 team members
*Captain  and 1 team member has an Angler Armory Membership
*The other two members do not have Membership. The two non-members are ineligible to touch the rod, gaff or fish, if that fish is to be weighed in for the FISH WHAT YOU WISH contest. If they do that fish/team will be disqualified for that day’s FISH WHAT YOU WISH contest.

***A mandatory lie detector test will be given at the conclusion of the FISH WHAT YOU WISH contest in November

1. The Fish What You Wish Contest is a 2 fish aggregate contest.
2.Only one fish per tournament can be entered into contest
3. Contestants may fish as many of the eligible tournaments as they wish. The heaviest 2 fish aggregate weighed in during the contest wins the 1stPlace award of $10,000
4.The only eligible species for this contest is kingfish
5. It is the teams responsibility to make sure weigh slips are scanned and emailed to within 5 days with registered captain listed on weigh slip.
6. Current points will be available for members to track on
7. In the event of a tie, the team with the biggest fish in the 2 fish aggregate wins.

Only kingfish weighed in at the the following West Coast boundary tournaments are eligible to be entered into the Fish What You Wish Contest:
Suncoast Kingfish Classic – April 15th
High Noon Kingfish Tournament – April 22nd
Rotary Club of Clearwater Kingfish Tournament – April 22nd
King of the Beach – April 29th
Wild West Kingfish Tournament Series – May 6th
Angler Armory King Mackerel Tournament – May 6th
Wild West Kingfish Tournament Series – Oct 7th
Angler Armory King Mackerel Tournament – Oct 7th
Suncoast Kingfish Classic – Oct 14th
Wild West Kingfish Tournament Series – Oct 21st
King of the Beach – Nov 4th

1.The winner will be subjected to an extensive polygraph test at the conclusion of the contest. Failure to submit to a polygraph test will result in disqualification. All decisions of the polygraph examiner will be final.
2. If the winner is found guilty of cheating he/she will automatically be disqualified from entering any future Angler Armory tournament and/or contest and will receive no refund of their Angler Armory Membership fees

1. Checks will be issued to the Captain of the team
2. A W9 will be issued to the winner of the contest
2. Checks will be written to winner at the conclusion of the contest in November

These rules will remain in effect during the 2017 Fish What You Wish Contest. Interpretation of these rules will be left exclusively to the Contest Committee. In the event of a rule violation, the Contest Committee may impose such sanctions as they deem appropriate, including, without limitation, disqualifications, forfeiture of prizes and prohibition from participation in subsequent contests. By competing in the Fish What You Wish Contest all competitors agree that decisions of the Contest Committee are final in all matters and are not subject to appeal, and are not reviewable by any court of law. The Contest Committee can make changes to the stated rules at any time. By participating in the Fish What You Wish Contest you agree to the previous statements, to sign a written legal release form, and to obey the rules stated below, or face expulsion without refund or compensation or any kind.
